Matt Famiglietti: I recently announced that I will be seeking the Democratic Nomination for Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia. I'm an attorney specializing in employment discrimination, special education, and constitutional law. I was born in Washington, DC, and raised in Charleston SC. In December of 1999 I returned to the Washington DC area. I have a law office in downtown DC, and I live in Northern Virginia with my wife and two dogs. I have been politically active most of my adult life. My heroes are Franklin Roosevelt, and John and Robert Kennedy. I believe one individual can make a difference in the American experience.
